Experiential Ready-mades are brief written instructions designed to create a situation where one becomes acutely aware of an individual moment in time. The specific experience had by the viewer is not important. Instead, the significance lies in being consciously aware of the experience. As written text the piece exists as a potential activity and when it is read and followed it becomes a realized activity. Between the two states lies an important tension.
